President Biden on Tuesday will meet with Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell to talk about record-high inflation earlier than assembly the Okay-pop group BTS.
According to the White House agenda, Biden will first meet with New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern earlier than assembly with Powell to talk about the state of the U.S. economy.

Biden has not met with Powell since November when he introduced his consideration to nominate him for a second time period as Federal Reserve Chairman. The assembly comes because the U.S. battles the best ranges of inflation in 40 years and is predicted to worsen.

The seven-piece Okay-pop supergroup BTS will be part of Biden on the White House later within the afternoon to talk about Asian hate crimes.
In a press release, the White House stated Biden and BTS will “discuss the importance of diversity and inclusion and BTS’ platform as youth ambassadors who spread a message of hope and positivity across the world.”
The assembly will come on the ultimate day of the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. BTS’ hit tune “Butter” spent weeks dominating the pop charts earlier in 2022.

Tuesday’s assembly won’t be the primary time Biden has met with youthful music artists. During the 2020 presidential marketing campaign he was interviewed by rapper Cardi B to talk about racism and free training. Last summer season, popstar Olivia Rodrigo visited the White House to promote COVID-19 youth vaccination.
