France is looking for an investigation into the loss of life of a French journalist who was killed whereas reporting in war-torn Ukraine.
“France demands that a probe be carried out as soon as possible and in transparency on the circumstances of this drama,” Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna stated in a press release.
French information broadcaster BFM TV stated the 32-year-old French journalist, Frederic Leclerc-Imhoff, was killed Monday, May 30, 2022, in Ukraine, fatally hit by a shell shrapnel whereas overlaying a Ukrainian evacuation operation.

Colonna, who was in Ukraine Monday, stated she had spoken with the Governor of Luhansky and requested Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for an investigation.
