PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. attended a Thanksgiving Mass at the National Shrine of St. Michael the Archangels positioned contained in the Malacañan compound on Thursday, the day of his inauguration.
According to the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP), Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula led the Mass with Cotabato Archbishop Emeritus Orlando Cardinal Quevedo as concelebrant.
Also current have been Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio and members of the Cabinet.
Marcos was formally sworn in because the seventeenth President of the Philippines at the National Museum in Ermita, Manila.
While the clergy have been very vocal of their help to the presidential bid of former vice chairman Maria Leonora “Leni” Robredo throughout the marketing campaign, Marcos expressed his readiness to cooperate intently with the Catholic Church and the Vatican.
Marcos made the dedication throughout the courtesy name of Papal Nuncio Archbishop Charles John Brown on June 10.
