The Major League Baseball Players Association joined the AFL-CIO on Wednesday, strengthening its ties to the bigger labor motion because it endeavors to considerably increase its membership by unionizing minor league gamers.

“The minor league players are the backbone of our industry,” Clark stated. “It is important that they have a voice at the table. It is important they have an opportunity to voice their concerns about fair pay and working conditions.”
