PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO)– The forty seventh Cannon Game between Pueblo South and Pueblo East ended early following a struggle between the groups.
According to our Sports Reporter who was at the sport Friday evening in Dutch Clark, the sport was known as. East gained 23-0.

Despite East being declared the winner, the cannon won’t be given out at this level.
Aaron Bravo, the Athletic Director of D60, mentioned that after assembly “as a group” it was determined to not give out the cannon because it was “not in the best interest of this crowd.”
Bravo mentioned the cannon alternate will happen at a distinct time. Cheers could possibly be heard from the East facet after the announcement. South’s facet was all however vacant.

Bravo mentioned that there will probably be a gathering Monday to “look at the whole situation and hopefully eliminate something like this from happening again.”
At this time, Bravo is not sure what began the struggle however mentioned that acceptable actions can be taken.
Bravo added that clearing the stadium earlier than saying East as the winner and saying the cannon wouldn’t be exchanged was not intentional. They simply wished to make a great choice.
