Joe Goldberg is taking his murderous methods to London.
Netflix dropped an eerily optimistic new teaser for Season 4 of the darkish, stalker-narrated homicide drama on Saturday.
“I’m not the lovable bookstore manager in New York, or the shop clerk in L.A. or the doting husband in the suburbs,” Penn Badgley’s subversive and unrelenting character Joe Goldberg says in his trademark inside monologue. “No. Not any more.”
In the brand new promo, Goldberg, now residing greater than 3,000 miles away from New York below the alias of professor Jonathan Moore, poetically tells the viewers that he’s someway change into a instructor within the U.Okay. — and his new transfer has helped him “bury the past.”
“Allow me to introduce myself. I’ve gone through a bit of refinement upon crossing the pond, and living in London has allowed me to bury the past, if you will,” he says.
For those that are caught up, Season 3 concluded with Goldberg touring to Paris to comply with his new obsession, Marienne Bellamy (Tati Gabrielle).
However, Badgley instructed Entertainment Tonight that Netflix relocated to London from Paris as a result of “it’s cheaper,”
The present has seen large success because the streaming titan announced its Season 4 renewal final October, simply days earlier than the collection’ third-season premiere.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight in June, Badgley apprised followers that the upcoming season could really feel a little bit completely different because the present evolves.

The first three seasons of “You” are streaming on Netflix. Part 1 of Season 4 is ready to premiere Feb. 10 earlier than Part 2 drops on March 10.
