Premier David Burt and members of Cabinet met with the Prime Minister of Bahamas Philip Davis and members of his Cabinet as a part of the Bahamian delegation’s go to to Bermuda right now [Oct 20].
A Government spokesperson mentioned, “Cabinet Ministers, the Hon. Walter Roban, the Hon. David Burch and the Hon. Lawrence Scott exchanged concepts on transport, reasonably priced housing, local weather change, CARICOM illustration and the Fintech business with Bahamian Ministers, the Hon. Jobeth Coleby-Davis, Minister of Transport & Housing; the Hon. Myles LaRoda, Minister of State within the Office of the Prime Minister and the Hon. Frederick A. Mitchell, Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Public Service. The assembly contributors included Parliamentarian Chris Famous and the previous Bahamian Prime Minister, the Hon. Perry Christie.
“Premier Burt noted the long and historical friendship between the Bahamas Government and the Progressive Liberal Party. Next year, the Bahamas will celebrate 50 years as a sovereign nation. Prime Minister Davis was the guest speaker at the opening night of PLP’s 57th Annual Delegates Conference.”
