A bunch of women and girls foraging for wild fruits have been kidnapped by armed men in separate incidents in Burkina Faso, the federal government mentioned Monday.
Around 50 women and girls have been taken within the incidents which occurred on January 12 and 13 respectively, based on a statement by the governor of the nation’s Sahel area.
Some of the women and girls have been kidnapped round 15 kilometers from the city of Arbinda, whereas the others have been taken from one other locality within the Soum province.
