SAN RAFAEL — The driver of a Tesla died after she crashed by means of a fence and into a swimming pool at a house in San Rafael Saturday.

A girl was heading west on Point San Pedro round 7 a.m. Saturday when her Tesla left the roadway and ran into the pool exterior a residence on Bonnie Banks Way, in response to CHP officer Darrel Horner.
According to Horner, the lady was not carrying a seat belt.
San Rafael police and San Rafael fireplace division had been first to reach on the scene and the driving force was pronounced lifeless, Horner mentioned.
It shouldn’t be but recognized if the Tesla was in self-driving mode on the time of the crash.
No one within the house was damage and harm was confined to the pool space.
