Doja Cat took the inspiration for Schiaparelli Haute Couture’s trend present, Dante’s “Inferno,” and ran with it.
The “Say So” singer pulled as much as the Paris Fashion Week present on Monday in a jaw-dropping top-to-toe pink look dropped at life by movie star make-up artist Pat McGrath.
According to McGrath, it took 30,000 hand-applied Swarovski crystals and practically 5 hours to create the “magical, mesmerising masterpiece of sparkling brilliance.” The star’s pink physique paint and crystal-encrusted pores and skin was paired with a pink silk bustier, pink knee-high boots and a textured skirt coated in crimson beads.

While the singer’s look stood out (to say the least), it was additionally in step with the present’s idea. According to the gathering’s notes, the Spring-Summer 2023 present was influenced by Dante Alighieri’s “The Divine Comedy” ― a three-part poem about Dante’s journey via hell, purgatory and heaven ― and makes an attempt to blur the strains between the actual and the unreal.
